We will have the unique opportunity to witness and participate in the entire chestnut harvesting process, from collecting the fallen pods deep in the jungle to cracking, peeling, and processing the nuts using traditional methods. With the guidance of experienced harvesters, we will learn to handle tools such as the payana, machete, and peeler, gaining insight into ancestral techniques that have been passed down for generations.
