The Valencia Lake – Fishing & Adventure tour will take us across remote Amazon landscapes and long stretches of calm forest roads. We will begin with a scenic drive that passes tall trees, quiet farmland, and warm morning air. Light clothing and hydration will keep us comfortable as we approach the lake area. This first section will prepare us for the fishing activities awaiting us on the water.
Our day will continue on the shores of Valencia Lake, which reaches 15 kilometers in length. We will explore wide channels where local fishermen catch paco, doncellas, palometas, dorados, and piranhas. The lake will also give us the chance to search for the powerful paiche, the giant fish of the Amazon. Our guide will explain each species and show how sustainable fishing supports local communities.
